SPOILERS!
Jack is looking outside, seeing the snow on the ground. He is trying to figure out how to get a high off of it, but Wonder Kyle tells him you can’t get high off of Christmas. After a failed attempt to get the definition of Christmas out of the group by Ultra Richard, Kyle decides to put on a Christmas pageant. Jack wants nothing to do with it, so Kyle tickles him so much, Jack gets a hard on and runs off. Jack runs off, and jumps into a snowmound genitals first. He decides to get the manliest tree in the forest as a Christmas tree. But all of the ones around him are total wussypuss. When he finds his tree, Kyle gives out the costumes, but no one knows that the wigs go on their heads, not their balls. Jack comes back in, and cuts the “head” off of the baddest tree in the forest. They laugh at him and the wimpy tree head he brought home. After Jack beats the crap out of the tree top, he rolls up the pine needles, and smokes like a joint. And, just like that, the holidays go up in smoke.
After reading this for the first time, the only thing I can come up with was, “What the fuck did I just read?” I was taken aback by how the humor was. Not because it was bad, because it wasn’t at all. I was expecting something else. This could be to comics what shows like South Park and Family Guy are to TV, because the humor is so outlandish, and different. Who, in their right mind, would write a comic where the final panel is one of the characters getting high off of a pine needle doobie? Hell, I’ll take it! Of course, there’s a lot of ball and dick jokes, but not as much profanity as you would see in their web show. This was something out of left field, and I loved it.
