Comics Review: Regular Show #7

Mordecai gets all in on the selfie phase which means he’d be best friends with ChefRich in a sec. Unfortunately, he accidentally sends the pics he took to everyone’s email and he doesn’t want any of the park employees to see them especially Margaret. Mordecai is able to get Margaret’s phone and delete the photos, and then goes into crazy extremes to delete everyone else’s, but Benson tells the jay that just because you delete something doesn’t mean the dark worlds of the internet still don’t have them!
Spoiler Alert
Mordecai and Rigby end up screaming spoilers in a movie theater which pisses off a bunch of puppies. To be continued…
The first story was a lot of fun, and the art presentation was just fantastic, but Regular Show is known for its crazy worlds and alternate realities so the fact that this issue was merely a setup for that I think is a bit of a letdown. However, its probably required reading if you are looking to get into this arc. The Spoiler Alert plot was also a setup for another story, but I don’t know if there was enough to make me want more the initial go around. A decent read.
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
