Check out Vans’ ‘Classic Tales’
The ‘animated tales’ industry is certainly in an infectious groove as the last several months we’ve seen a bunch of different varieties with everyone from Puppets to John Stamos getting in on the action. Welp, Vans has a series called ‘Classic Tales’ which is right up that alley and it’s actually a pretty good show and is already on its second season. For the most part I don’t know any of the other people that they do the animated stories with with the exception of Robert Trujillo of Metallica, but for the most part the shorts are pretty entertaining.
The ‘Classic Tales’ bit features characters that look rather inspired by Bob’s Burgers and is produced by director/animator Jim Dirschberger and artist Jay Howell. Robert Trujillo recently produced an animated short called ‘Tallica Parking Lot’ which was fucking stellar and you should read about it here.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
