TVGUIDE INTERVIEWS ‘LOONEY TUNES SHOW’

 The Looney Tunes Show returned the other night on Cartoon Network and although we weren’t crazy about it, the producers were in an interview with TVGuide.com where they were talking about a Bridesmaids reunion of sorts for the next episode which sounds SUPER promising:

While you won’t hear any overt references, the second episode does feature a treat forBridesmaids fans: Wendi McClendon-Covey, who starred as Kristin Wiig’s fellow bridesmaid Rita in the film, will play mama bunny to the Wiig-voiced Lola (aka Bugs’ girlfriend).

For those who don’t remember, Wendi was a cast member of the now classic Reno 911 series on Comedy Central along with starring in Bridesmaids with Kristen Wiig. The Looney Tunes Show is all new next Tuesday Night @ 8/7c, check your local listings!
