Vice Sports and ESPN to co-produce animated series
Today it was announced by Deadline.com that Vice Sports programming will be coming to ESPN. One of the programs in question appear to be a short-form animated series.
No word as to what the series will be about nor when it will premiere, but I love Vice on HBO so I’m hoping the content on ESPN is good. There used to be a time when ESPN was the go-to for sports coverage, and it still is for some sports, but over the years my interest in the network has waned as the network went to a more FOX News type deal with constant star fucking of Brett Favre, Lebron James, and Derek Jeter. The network has been making some notable changes by getting rid of Skip Bayless, Mike Tirico, and others so hopefully this thing turns out good.
