TVGUIDE CHATS UP WITH GRAVITY FALLS CREATOR

Tvguide.com recently caught up with the great Alex Hirsch(Fish Hooks, Gravity Falls) about his new Disney animated series Gravity Falls and in it I thought that there was an interesting tidbit about the shows setting:

Gravity Falls exists…in your heart. But it also exists in Oregon, which I visited one summer while in college. I also spent many summers camping with my twin sister as a kid, and the time we spent getting cabin fever and mosquito bites in the middle of nowhere is something I always hoped would pay off one day. Finally, it has!

Who would have thought that not only would Oregon provide inspiration for a pretty great show like Gravity Falls and also provide a setting for another animated series that Alex actually mentions is part of the ‘equation’ of what makes his shows so funny.
