This Is The Best Comic Book Series of 2016 That Is Inspired By An Animated Series

That’s a lot of words but there’s only one answer.

Comic books inspired by animated TV shows had a lot of deaths this year. Franchises like Regular Show, Bob’s Burgers, and even The Simpsons saw comic books drop off the shelves this year which could be a sign of things to come.

Fortunately, there was one comic book series that was ADDED that was inspired by an animated series, and that’s Brickleberry. By a nautical mile, Brickleberry comics was the best series due to the fact that it’s the only franchise where what you got on TV is what you got in print in terms of quality. While all of the other major franchises make their comics more kid-friendly ala The Simpsons or Rick and Morty, the producers of the Brickleberry comics series went even CRAZIER with shit just as nuts as what you would’ve found on the Comedy Central animated series of yesteryear. I think it’s a lesson that other franchises long gone can go, but is the art form going to be around long enough to reap the benefits?

In any case, the trade paperback for Brickleberry is coming soon and you can get it February 14, 2017 by preordering it right now.
