“The Simpsons” To Go Heavy On “Exorcist” For Next Treehouse

The Simpsons “Treehouse of Horror XXVIII” has officially been dated for an October 22nd @ 8 pm ET/PT start, and the series is reportedly going to exorcize some demons to be the guest stars. Announced to be a part of a short called “MMM… Homer” that will see William Friedkin guest star as “Dr. Kenneth Humphries” who is tasked with having to assist Homer into not eating himself.

The Exorcist movie director joins Ben Daniels from The Exorcist TV Series who is voicing the role of a priest in a different short this one called “Exor-sis”.

The Simpsons is set to premiere on October 1st @ 8 pm ET/PT with the episode entitled “The Serfsons” which you can learn more about here.
