‘THE SIMPSONS’ INVOLVED IN A FEW LEGAL DISPUTES
Former Guns ‘N Roses bass player and current washed up rockstar Duff Mckagan recently lost a lawsuit against the producers of The Simpsons in a failed attempt to collect licensing royalties for the use of his name in correspondence with DUFF Beer. Mckagan claims that a FOX producer sometime in the late 80’s actually did call to get the OK for the popular animated series to use his name for Homer’s favorite adult beverage. That ladies and gents is called obscene greed, the Guns ‘N Roses have sold well over 100 million records to Duff’s got enough money.
In other news, Hank Azaria is suing Craig Bierko due to the fact that the Simpsons actor had a voice-likeness set to go for a new film he was putting together, but I guess Craig claims he was the originator for the voice according to an article in Business Week. Don’t worry I don’t know who Craig Bierko is either.
