The Premiere Of The Next Couch Gag Produced By Bill Plympton For “The Simpsons” Is…

Aaaaand now we know.

Set to premiere on March 18th @ 8 pm ET/PT only on FOX will be a brand-new episode of The Simpsons entitled “Homer is Where the Art Isn’t”. In the episode, when Homer is accused of stealing a million-dollar painting, only a detective from the 1970s can clear his name, or send him to jail. It’s a classic impossible mystery.

The episode is set to guest star SNLers Bill Hader as Manacek and Cecily Strong as “Megan”. Not only that, but Bill Plympton will be producing the couch gag for the episode which will mark the SIXTH time the legendary filmmaker has produced a couch gag for The Simpsons. Other episodes in which Bill Plympton has produced an episode couch gag for include “Beware My Cheating Bart” in 2012, “Black Eyed, Please” in 2013, “Married to the Blob” in 2014, “Lisa the Veterinarian” in 2016, and “22 for 30” in 2017.

Update: As a result of the OJ special that aired on March 11th, this couch gag will instead premiere on March 25th with a brand-new episode of The Simpsons.
