“The Driver Is Red” Is As Important Now As Ever

Timely.

After the fall of the Third Reich during World War 2, Nazis fearing death would high tail it out of Germany and relocate all over the world. Argentina, the United States, and all over Europe they would escape and you still hear stories as recent as last year in regards to Nazis being found decades after the end of the second World War. Today, a lot of the principles of Nazism are still prevalent proving that despite how many missiles you buy, you can only battle ideologies with better ideologies that include inclusiveness and love.

The Driver is Red is an animated short film documentary that is the true crime variety that sees special agent Zvi Aharoni tracking down a Nazi war criminal in Argentina during the 1960s by the name of Adolf Eichmann. It’s difficult being someone named “Adolf” post-Hitler, so naturally, Adolf changed his name to Ricardo Klement and stayed in Buenos Aires until Aharoni found him, and arranged for him to be smuggled out of South America and into Israel where Adolf would eventually be executed for war crimes.

The Driver is Red was directed by RANDALL CHRISTOPHER
