BRENDON SMALL ANSWERS FAN-SUBMITTED QUESTIONS FOR Fret12.com
Popular online guitar site Fret12.com recently had a chance to sit down with Dethklok frontman Brendon Small to help answer a bunch of fan-submitted questions. Dethklok is currently on a North American Tour on support of their latest release Dethalbum III of which is in stores everywhere and definitely deserves your attention. Check out the video below from the interview.

DETHKLOK FRONTMAN INTERVIEWED ON KASC The Blaze 1330 AM
Dethklok has been awful busy as of late on their North American trek with Machine Head, but Dethklok front man and Metalocalypse creator Brendon Small always seems to be able to stop and do a bunch of interviews. Hence, right before Dethklok’s show at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, Arizona, Brendon had time to chat up about the tour in this new interview with KASC The Blaze 1330 AM.

I watch a lot of Brendon Small interviews and you can check out our write-ups about him by clicking any of the tags cuz we have a shit ton. That said, in THIS interview with 107.7 The Bone’s interview (PS THE BONE! Love that name!) Brendon humoursly spends the first I would say three minutes completely busting balls as he talks about Metalocalypse, and the tour he is currently on with Machine Head and The Black Dahila Murder. Seriously, its a pretty funny interview and one of the better ones I’ve seen/read in a while and Nikki Blakk’s funny in it as well. Oh yea, and what’s Brendon working on next??

Check out the dates here and also check out this interview Dethklok frontman Brendon Small did with HardTimes,ca.

Recently, Brendon Small was in an interview with WGRD 97.9 FM Radio in Grand Rapids, MI. Brendon Small is currently out with Dethklok on a North American trek in support of their most recent album relese for DethAlbum III of which is in stores now and has sold quite a few copies already. NATHAN EXPLOSION GETS INTERVIEWED ABOUT HIS LIFE IN A NEW ISSUE OF @REVOLVERMAG
NATHAN EXPLOSION GETS INTERVIEWED ABOUT HIS LIFE IN A NEW ISSUE OF REVOLVER MAGAZINE
Out now on news stands everywhere is a new issue of Revolver Magazine and in said magazine there is a new & hysterical interview with one Nathan Explosion. I guess Brendon Small was just too friggin cool and busy to do the interview this time around so instead we get the front man of Dethklok of whom is currently on a North American trek. In the issue, find out how Nathan became the dude he ended up becoming. Normally, Revolver is somewhat of a mixed bag with me as sometimes they give cover stories to such incredible musicians like Philip H. Anselmo, Dez Fafara, and more but there are other times when shitty bands like Avenged Sevenfold come by to ruin it. That said, the interview is VERY funny and on newsstands now so go check it out with the Soundgarden cover story.
MACHINE HEAD DROPS OFF DETHKLOK TOUR FOR A BUNCH OF DATES DUE TO ROBB FLYNN(@TheGeneralMH)’s ILLNESS
MACHINE HEAD DROPS OFF DETHKLOK TOUR FOR A BUNCH OF DATES DUE TO ROBB FLYNN ‘s ILLNESS
FUCK….FUCK…FUCK! I REALLY wanted to see Machine Head again, but according to the band’s official site, MH Frontman Robb Flynn has to get surgery to help put himself back together and as such the whole band has to drop off for 9 dates. According to a press release Flynn had THIS to say about his injury:
“”I’ve been toughing out an inguinal hernia below my waistline since June of last year, and a few months ago got a second hernia in my nuts. What basically happens is my guts drop into my nuts, and it looks like I have a third testicle (man, I can hear the jokes already!) It hasn’t been that painful, and I’ve gone to the doctor a few times to take care of it, but he said after surgery I probably couldn’t sing for a few weeks, and since that wasn’t going to happen, I scheduled it for January when I had a break. Unfortunately, after the last few shows, my guts have been very swollen and hard to push back in. Yesterday, the pain was excruciating and I went to the emergency room last night. They said that I need surgery.
“I will be doing my damnedest to rejoin the tour in a couple weeks.
“Thanks to all the fans, bands, and crew for understanding. I’m determined to see you all soon and finish what has been a great freakin’ tour!”
Poor guy. When The Blackening came out I don’t think there was a band on the planet that played more shows than Machine Head and I’m sure that was probably a contributor at some point. That said, I really hope the band comes back before the Dec. 14th scheduled show in NYC because I seriously have zero interest in sitting through All That Remains. Click here for the rest of the dates and be sure to pick up the latest live album from the band cause its fucking great, and its called “Machine Fucking Head Live”.

mLive DOES INTERVIEW WITH @_Brendonsmall…SAYS “I’VE GOT MORE STORIES TO TELL”
mLive DOES INTERVIEW WITH BRENDON SMALL..SAYS “I’VE GOT MORE STORIES TO TELL”
John Serba of mlive.com recently did a fantastic interview with Metalocalypse creator Brendon Small as the Dethklok frontman makes the rounds during his North American trek that is coming to a town near you. One of the more interesting quotes in the article is the following:
“I’ve got more stories to tell, which would pick up with the frame right after the finale,” Small said. “It could potentially continue (without me) after that.”
A really long time ago we actually surmised whether or not Metalocalypse will always have Brendon Small’s full attention as he has fiddled with the idea of doing stand up, released a solo album entitled Galaktikon, and sells a shit ton of records as part of the live iteration of Dethklok. I actually see an exec producer cred/voice talent role always associated with Metalocalypse for Brendon but with the possibility of going the Seth MacFarlane route and just hire writers and what not to round out the show production. Is this a positive step in the show’s future?? What do you think?

‘DETHALBUM III’ CRACKS TOP 10 IN US CHARTS
It’s amazing how nowadays 20,000 copies of a record gets you into the Billboard Top 10, yea? Sign of the times I guess, but yes Dethklok’s latest album ‘Dethalbum III’ sold 20,000 copies its first week which is good for number 10 on the Billboard 100.
