Bubbleblabber vs Carl’s Stone Cold Pick of Super Bowl XLVII

Here it is! For all the marbles. The Denver Broncos vs Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVII. The big game is actually about 45 minutes from the Bubble HQ and we are expecting a rather gorgeous 60 degree day. The media surrounding this thing has been nothing but a pain in the ass, so I’m glad to see it over, that said let’s get to the last pick of the Season between Bubbleblabber and Carl.

The number one offense in the league IS rather impressive, but traditionally I always take the better running offense in the league and in this case that goes to Seattle. Peyton Manning is a brilliant QB, and Seattle knows this so how do you keep him off? Run it 25 times then dink and dunk for first downs all the way until the end zone. It was a valiant effort Denver, but not this year.

Better defense + better run game usually calls for Championship pedigree. It’s not cold for all those wondering, as a matter of fact we are going to get close to 60 degrees today which is like a Summer day compared to how the past month has been, but Marshawn Lynch is a locomotive and the only thing that’s gonna stop that is a broken leg. Take into account that Percy Harvin comes back out of nowhere and that the top scoring defense is 12-3 in the last 15 Super Bowls, and you’ve got this one well figured out.
