FUTURAMA

Futurama premiered last night as part of a two part episode and we couldn’t be more pumped. Be sure to check out the Futurama Facebook page as they’ve posted a bunch of great videos and podcasts featuring David X. Cohen and Matt Groening aka the co-creators of the show. Oh yea, you can also check out our interview with Phil Lamarr as he drops some subtle hints as to what to expect in the upcoming season.

 

AQUA SOMETHING YOU KNOW WHATEVER

Premiers: June 24th

Master Shake, Meatwad, and Carl return to do ‘whatever’ all over your face. Little is known as to what to expect in the upcoming season but chances are you will be watching because its Aqua Teen. I recently had a chance to talk with co-creator Matt Maiellaro in which he drops some hints. In any case be sure to tune in this Sunday, June 24th @ 11:45 pm on Adult Swim.

 

BLACK DYNAMITE

Premiers: July 15th

For those who have never seen the film, Black Dynamite is all about blaxploitation films, kind of like a tribute to films like Shaft and Willie Dynamite. The animated version will have all the same folks from the film and a whole lot more with stars like Michael Jai White, Kym Whitley, and Tommy Davidson set to reprise their roles from the movie. Adult Swim aired the pilot episode last August which was a smashing success having been written by Carl Jones(The Boondocks).

Dougal County’s most lovable cephalapods are back and I’m taking bets now. Serious, how many times is Early going to rob a convenience store?? There are six episodes so I’m willing to bet at LEAST that many maybe more because sometimes he likes to snatch and run at the end. In any case, last season we had episodes featuring T-Pain and a bunch of country music stars so there’s no telling what’s gonna happen this season but I’m quite certain SOME sort of squid molestation is going down.
