State of the Bubble Address: Bubbleblabber Turns Three!

That’s right folks, three years ago today was the official launch for Bubbleblabber and what started out as a novel way to pass the time has turn into an obsession. Since then YOU ,the readers, have shown us and continue to show us that the age of the fan page is dead, and the power of news reigns supreme.

Most of our competitors may tout their traffic numbers and such, and while our fan base has crown in immeasurable leaps and bounds, that’s not the only reason why we are here. We are here to make a difference in an industry that has been much maligned and usually shoved to the site whence compared to contemporaries. Case and point, Bob’s Burgers wins an Emmy, but is seen not on the same level as say a Modern Family or Big Bang Theory. THIS is a change that needs to happen…and it will.

In the last year, you guys may have noticed a BUNCH of new ideas come into fruition. Some have worked, others not so much, and even a few ideas that worked but may need some major tweaking. We are never afraid to try new things, failure happens all the time, but if you aren’t taking risks then you ain’t living. Come 2015, get ready for the biggest overhaul to Bubbleblabber that you have ever seen. TWO POINT ZERO will begin production very soon and yes, some of the new features and ideas from Bubbleblabber will be re-imagined and repackaged. You MAY even see us on store shelves! We can’t say much, but 2015 could be the biggest groove yet for us, and we can’t wait.

In the meantime, we are excited as hell to dive into the frigid fall season with a bunch of new and returning programming. And while other websites and publications are all chasing the ‘flavors of the week’ when it comes to TV, film, or whatever else is out there, you can count on us to keep cartoons covered.

Thanks everyone for keeping us around for three years, in the meantime, tell your friends about us and come say hi to us at New York Comic Con 2014! We’ll be walking around in Bubbleblabber shirts so don’t hesitate to say hello if/when you see us!
