Spotify teaming up with Comedy Central and others for video content
I don’t really use Spotify’s music streaming service and instead prefer SiriusXM radio. Reason being is because Spotify’s metal channels aren’t as varied and SiriusXM has good DJ’s and Howard Stern Show of which Spotify has none of, so that’s why I have that preference.
In any case, Spotify is looking to expand its content offerings to include podcasts and video according to The Hollywood Reporter. The producers of said video include networks like NBC, Comedy Central, and even online brands like Nerdist are all producing short clips for the service.
No word yet as to what kind of content we are getting, like original content vs clips of older stuff, so we’ll see if this becomes successful and more brands opt to jump in.
Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
