See a Preview of the New ‘Rick and Morty’ Comic Book!

rickandmortyWe may have to wait until this summer for season two of Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland’s hilariously entertaining Adult Swim cartoon Rick and Morty, but a comic book is on its way in the meantime.

It’s no prank, Oni Press will drop the comic’s first issue on April 1st, and Entertainment Weekly got a sneak peek of the first six pages, which you can see here.

Written by Zac Gorman, drawn by CJ Cannon, and colored by Ryan Hill, the book will explore a plethora of sci-fi adventures not seen on TV, featuring the grandfather/grandson duo, while still hoping to capture the zany spirit and obscure humor of the series.

If you can’t wait until April for the release, book your trip now for Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle (March 27-29) to grab a copy a few days before everyone else.

Or, if you want it today, just jump in your time machine, head to April, and buy the issue. But be sure when going through intergalactic customs that you smuggle it “wayyyyyy up inside your butthole.”
