SDCC2017: Robot Chicken Season 9 Trailers Are Here

The season 9 trailer of Robot Chicken debuted at San Diego Comic-Con during today’s panel with Breckin Meyer, show creator Matthew Senreich, executive producers and co-head writers, Tom Root and Doug Goldstein, and writer/director Tom Sheppard were all on hand to dish about the new season, which premieres on Adult Swim this Fall.

In terms of funny bits we can expect this coming season, producers have teased throwing shade at the newest Star Wars movies, Donald Trump, and of course The Walking Dead. Also tapped to guest star expect to see Ralph Garman and Fred Tatasciore in different Trump sketches, along with Sherilyn Fenn (Twin Peaks),  Parker Posey, Christina Hendricks, the cast of “13 Reasons Why,” Luke Evans and Jason Isaacs.

Robot Chicken uses stop-motion animation to bring pop-culture parodies to life in a modern take on the variety/sketch show format. The Emmy Award-winning series began airing in February 2005 and remains among the top-rated original series on Adult Swim. Robot Chicken is executive produced by Robot Chicken creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich and their Stoopid Buddy Stoodios partners, John Harvatine IV and Eric Towner.
