‘Robot Chicken’ producer announces “Liquid Television”-esque show for Comedy Central

Comedy Central/MTV are on a fucking role when it comes to finding new and exciting talent to do new animated series. After the jump, learn more about a show called “TripTank”, a Liquid Television type show coming soon to Comedy Central!

A week ago we told you guys about the reported new Stoopid animation studio being opened up by the Robot Chicken guys Matt Seinreich and Seth Green, along with a bunch of new Comedy Central animated series, one which was called “TripTank and this week “The Hollywood Reporter” was able to get a hold of one of the producers for both of those shows, one Alex Bulkley to talk about his vision of the show.

As mentioned about TripTank, It sounds like a “Robot Chicken”  meets old-school “Liquid Television”, and not only is Tommy Blacha(MWA/Metalocolypse)  gonna be doing stuff for it, but if you guys have never heard of Duncan Trussell well you are in for a treat! Duncan’s one of the funniest comedians in stand up right now and can typically be seen occasionally as a guest on the “Joe Rogan Experience”(he was just on there about a month ago). My only question is if the opening of the Stoopid studios and the announcement of the “TripTank” show had anything to do with one another?…hmmmmm

I think this is great, with the animation boom we are experiencing this would be an awesome way to introduce us to some up and coming producers. So, if you are an inspiring producer for animated series, find out how you can submit your work! I might recommend it for those looking to do 15 minute or 30 minutes type series, but if your more the type looking to do short webisodes I heard Mondo was looking for new talent as well.
