Review: Wild Grinders “The Wild Grinder With Two Heads” And “The Legend Of Jilly!”

SPOILERS BELOW!!!

The Wild Grinder With Two Heads-

Jay Jay and Emo can’t agree on where to snag lunch so they get in a wrestling match. As they battle, Goggles reveals he’s already solved the problem by creating yet another ray gun. This one combines foods and hasn’t been tested on other subjects. Well we’re about to find out how it works on people because Jay and Emo struggle with the weapon and end up zapping themselves together. As they duo struggle to learn to live with their newfound situation, the dude from the glass shop shows up and says he knows how to separate them. He puts unicorn hats on them and brings them back to his shop. Once there, he displays them under glass and says that he collects freaks of nature and leaves “Stub-Fly” in charge of making sure they stay under glass. Clearly Stub-Fly is easy to outsmart and the boys escape. Back at Rob’s house, Jay and Emo talk about their experience and how everyone should try it once. We get a telegraphed “Two heads are better than one” joke and all of the Grinders on one body. Yawn.

The Legend Of Jilly-

Meaty and Rob spend the first two minutes or so eating a burrito until a bright green flash comes across and steals their burrito scraps. They head home and notice that his sister has been monitoring this situation and has solved the mystery. The monster is actually her pet alligator, Jilly. She explains that she accidentally flushed Jilly and now she’s causing havoc all over Sprawl City. Denise must head to the sewer and save the day. Rob can’t let his sister do this mission alone so he and Meaty head down as well.

Oh my God, they actually spoofed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The Grinders take on the role of turtles and skate through the sewers in search of Jilly. They crash through a few layers of flooring and into a vat of FroYo. Denise finds Jilly in the FroYo and the day is saved. But why is Jilly so tiny if she’s been eating all of these burritos? Well, it wasn’t Jilly at all, but a giant sewer monster who was just taking a nice FroYo cleanse after a long day of terrorizing the city. He sends the Grinders up through their toilets and to their homes.
