Review: Uncle Grandpa ”Belly Brothers”

Spoilers Below

The first episode  starts off with a theme I believe will stick throughout the rest of the show. Uncle Grandpa’s “Good morning!” line is said over and over in the introductory credits and first couple minutes of the episode. After he greets everybody, his magical vehicle rams right into an overweight child’s house. This is when Uncle Grandpa is introduce as everyone’s uncle AND grandpa by his magical talking fanny pack, Belly Bag. At this time, Uncle Grandpa coaxes the child into believing his big belly is awesome. Depressed and annoyed, the kid only wants a new shirt because his old one won’t fit. Uncle Grandpa comes to the rescue by diving deep into Belly Bag and pulling one out.
As the new shirt is dropped over the kid’s head, he is magically transported to Night Wolf Land where it just so happens to have a six pack of nightwolves…with six packs…oh, and a giant taco. ::Chaos ensues:: The lessoned learned in this episode is that there is a predominance of child obesity and it’s okay for a 12 year-old to have diabetes as long as he fights a giant taco and mutated wolves. Or, something like that. Still a better love story than Twilight.
