Review: Robot Chicken DC Comics Special III: Magical Friendship

Spoilers Below

Batman competes against Superman. 

Superman is taking a lot of shit about how Batman doesn’t have any powers and that he acts all emo about his parents dying. Soon, Superman starts laying out some pranks that go too far, causing the Dark Knight to attack Superman whilst in the nude.

The fight leads to the two going to therapy, but another round of battle leads to the two battling on Flash’s treadmill. Due to more witty banter, Batman and Superman summon a hybrid Bat-Superman who shows up to cause a bunch of trouble. The hybrid begins to ride the treadmill which causes all different DC Multiverses to converge onto Earth, and then a whole bunch of Earths to appear and nearly cause a cataclysmic catastrophe. Fortunately, Batman and Superman are able to put aside their differences, but it’s the janitor dressed as Batman that is the real hero of the day. We finish with a Lex Luthor boy band, and the original Batman and Robin re-teaming thanks to Burt Ward kidnapping Robin and stealing all of his clothes.
