REVIEW: REGULAR SHOW “Video Game Wizard”
Mordecai and Rigby enter a video game tournament to win a prototype video game controller called “The Maximum Glove”.

When a killer promo hits TV of a new ‘Maximum Glove’, Mordecai and Rigby get pumped to enter a video game tournament to win it! But, Mordecai decides not to join the tourney with Rigs, rather he does with Skips leaving Rigby as an alternate. Its here Mordecai tells Rigby that he stinks at games even worse than Skips does which causes the guys to fight and not be friends. Tournament day is here and Mordecai and Skip get to the finals but Skip ‘suffers’ an injury which gets Rigby in to the final match. However, mid way through their match the guys get teleported in an alternate universe where they become video game Gods and win the final match. Unfortunately, just like the original ‘Powerglove’ the ‘Max glove’ sucked too.
Another day, and yet another TV show that I haven’t seen that is really good and totally fitting with an older audience. I mean Jesus Christ, these guys were fighting over a Powerglove…remember those? If your a kid, probably not! How about arcade machines, also have any of you kids been in a game tournament FACE TO FACE with your adversary? With the advent of online gaming, both of those practices seem archaic, but guess what they existed, and usually you got lame prizes if you won. Funny show, kind of reminds me of Rocko’s Modern Life quite a bit actually. Check it out if you haven’t because it caters to YOU
