Review: Doraleous & Associates: EP.37 – Doraleous Returns
Starting off right on the heels of Episode 36, we join Doraleous and co. sprinting towards the Silver Forest to save the last member of Broof’s old team of heroes, the Leg of Burnine, Atari. There we have an epic battle between the strong man Broof and a giant rock monster, and it is awesome. We also have the traditional Doraleous and Associates brand of bickering, and it is hilarious. And we have the return of Neebs as he continues his trek to sell brooms, this time he comes across an old man being harassed by some robbers and Neebs in his usual Neebs’ way uses his self absorbed attitude to annoy the robbers away, and it is hilarious too.
Doraleous and Associates is right up there with the best online animated series with some of the best comedic writing and timing I’ve seen and with some noticeable upgrades to the character puppets, the movement in fight scenes (in this episode at least) has become a lot more fluent and impactful. This is a series that I’m glad has finally made it’s return and I look forward to the many more amazing episodes in the coming weeks.
