The Belchers are looking to swamp a bunch of cruise tourists with coupons and advertising but the kids can’t pull through. Luckily, the cruise ship captain goes to the restaurant, orders a burger, and is blown away. As such, the captain offers Bob a free cruise but of course Belcher declines because he can’t afford to leave the restaurant so the captain asks Bob and his crew to cook for the crew before their next send off.

When the family shows up to the ship, Bob goes off to cook with the disgruntled chef of the ship while the ladies do up the spa and Eugene catches a ventriloquist act that he kind of falls in love with. Unfortunately for Tina, she really wants a massage from a dude that she really wants on but ship policies don’t allow it so she can only get above the head relaxation. Louise gets her nails done and Linda decides to get cooked. At the buffet, the wife and kids are getting ready to chow down leading the ventriloquist to believe that they are rich and as such can hit up Eugene’s infatuation for a bunch of money. As mentioned, Bob spends his time with a chef who seems to concentrate more on number of meals served versus quality or freshness of the food.

At the end of the buffet, Bob notices the ship is moving and as such freaks out and accuses Captain Flarty of forcing his family to take a trip to Puerto Rico. Linda and the kids don’t seem to mine but Bob wants off this boat no matter what. Gene meets up with Marilyn of whom asks for a $100 and yep he goes and gets it, Linda’s playing the slots, Tina’s trying to get rubbed the wrong way, and Louise ruins her nails. Thankfully, Bob finds Chef DuVall and attempts to get him to throw out the night’s dinner of spoiled oysters. Instead, Bob gets locked in the fridge and it looks as though he ain’t going anywhere.

With the power of canned ham, Bob is able to escape the fridge but isn’t able to take the oysters with him. He then tracks down Louise who offers to help out her dad all the meanwhile Gene is trying to raise the $100 to see Marilyn’s totties.  Bob stops the oysters from being served and gathers his family to try and escape but soon the entire buffet line gets sick including Marilyn and her ‘master’. Gene gets to waive the $100 fee and then all of the ship’s crew turns on Flarty and Bob is able to get the whole family back to the restaurant.

Jeffrey Tambour is a wonderful actor and always has been which is why I wasn’t surprised when he completely delivered over-the-top greatness to his role ‘Flarty’ in this week’s episode of Bob’s. Also, I was really into the fast pace of the episode with all of the kid’s activities coming off almost like animated shorts. Gene’s plot was really, really funny too as you can’t help but love his naivete when he gets into crazy situations. Not sure what Louise was really doing this week,  and Tina/Linda’s plots were only alright, but Bob and Jeffrey really worked well together for the main story and as such delivered a solid premise that any captain would be proud of.
