Ratings Are In 6/18/15: Phineas and Ferb finale sets Disney XD record

The ratings are in, and Disney has announced that the Phineas and Ferb one-hour finale entitled ”Last Day of Summer” was the most watched program in Disney XD’s history to the tune of 1.4 million viewers. The 73-hour Phineas and Ferb marathon that preceded the one hour finale drew 10.9 million unique viewers.

This should bode well for Disney XD which also has another one-hour long Phineas and Ferb special premiering this Fall entitled The O.W.C.A. Files which follows Perry the Platypus.

I think it’s rather incredible that despite the fact that Disney XD can lay claim to Phineas and Ferb crossovers with such huge brands as Marvel and Star Wars, that an original telecast from Phineas and Ferb would do just fine without any needed help.  We thought the one-hour long finale was pretty damn good, and you can read our review for it here.
