Previews: If you guys thought the USA had a bunch of shows coming up…you haven’t seen shit because here comes Canada

So some of this news is rehash of things that have happened already and part of it is shit coming up. But, it’s all relevant because the point I am making is that Canada wants to plant a flag in the Animation World with a bunch of different projects. Already this week we reviewed Crash Canyon and today I’m going to preview some new shows coming next year exclusive to Canada.

You know what, Canada? How bout you lend a guy a hand? I mean we(America) send you guys a bunch of animated shit every year! Family Guy? Made in America. AMERICAN Dad? Yea and a bunch of other shit sooooo you’re welcome! Meanwhile, shows like Crash Canyon aren’t even attempting to get in over here so I have to find episodes online to do reviews which sucks because I think some of these shows are really good and some have a lot of promise. Yea, I kind of gave Crash Canyon a mediocre review but I actually am still curious where it goes so maybe you Canadian guys can help an American guy out? In the meantime, we have a couple of previews from various projects that are premiering in Canada next year that I also hope come to the states. And then we do a “oh by the way” moment with a new animated project from Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds and his “the Proposal” co-star Sandra Bullock which we are “blessed” to get here in America.

Ben’s City

Not a lot is known about this show except for the fact that its being produced by François Pérusse and is currently in production. It’s a story about a guy who lives in an apartment in a city with his girlfriend Sophie and they get into random shit. It’s going to be distributed next year by 9 Story and is being animated by Oasis Animation.  I’m looking forward to this one because I used to work in a big city and it sucked ass but the jokes were definitely there. I’m hearing next year for a premiere.

Fugget About It

This show sounds pretty awesome. Its about a former NY mob boss who moves to Toronto. Let me tell you from experience, Toronto and NYC are two different planets when it comes to types of people so this should have no shortage of laughs. I just hope it gets done right. Here’s a clip I found on YouTube about it that basically mimics “”The Godfather”. This one got picked up for 13 episodes and is premiering next fall.

And Then There Was Gordon

One show that is coming to America(potentially to Fox’s Animation Domination) is And Then There Was Gordon a show about an average kid named Gordon(played by Canuck Ryan Reynolds) who is surrounded by family that is smarter than he is including his neurotic mother(Sandra Bullock)…we can only hope.
