PRESS RELEASE: Feminist, queer, intersectional cartoon – TODAY McTucky releases Season 2 Episode 3
MCTUCKY FRIED HIGH RELEASES EPISODE 8
McTucky Fried High, the comedic, animated web series about an ensemble of teen foods has launched Season 2. Episode 8 releases TODAY, June 20, 2016. Season 2 runs for 7 episodes, with the season finale on July 18th, 2016.
McTucky Fried High stands out as one of the only LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning) animated cartoons to date. Season 2 uses humor to tackle religion, racism, feminism, and STD’s while foregrounding and affirming LGBTQ characters and experiences. McTucky Fried High is leading the way with cartoons like Steven Universe, the Legend of Korra, and Gen Zed featuring specifically LGBTQ characters and story lines.
As national conversations on feminism, sexual assault, victim blaming, intersectionality and “religious freedom” escalate, Episode 8 highlights and explores perspectives that can lead to discrimination, division and stereotyping. All with a dose of humor, food puns and queer romance – of course.

Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
