‘ Orphan Black’ star Tatiana Maslany ‘Captain Canuck’ Animated Web Series

Captain Canuck’s only been funded for maybe a week and already the show lands a major name.

The Captain is paid for and now hes enlisting help. Yep, according to The Hollywood Reporter Tatiana Maslany has joined the cast of the recently funded web series. For those that don’t know Captain Canuck was a long time comic book superhero that got its start in the mid-70s and although it never took off like say Captain America, the comic’s action/comedy style has certainly garnered a loyal fan base over the years. The show is being produced by Smiley Guy Studios and Captain Canuck Inc and already features the voices of Kris-Holden Reid as the Captain and Paul Amos as ‘Mr. Gold”.

But, by far Tatiana Maslany is probably the biggest name attached to the series as she can currently be seen in the BBC America series Orphan Black. Oh yea, and she’s cute as the dickens. No word yet on the start date, but this one is shaping up to be pretty legit.
