Mark Wahlberg is making the interview rounds for his new film with Russell Crowe called Broken City(of which looks pretty bad ass by the way) and so he’s starting to get questions about Ted 2. I could give two shits less about the impending filming of Transformers 4, but when Mark was asked about Ted from Collider.com, he pretty much confirmed that Ted 2 was happening and that it will start filming after the robot-porn fest from Michael Bay. Mark would actually comment on it in an interview stating:

“We’re shooting Transformers in May, and then I believe we’re gonna do Ted 2 right after.  They’re working on it now and we’ve kind of gone through the negotiation process.  The great thing about it is Seth’s ideas for the second one are sick.  He comes from the world of episodic television so he knows how to tell the stories, man, in a way that most people don’t, like for instance The Italian Job we’ve been trying to do the sequel for 10 years.  He’s a different kind of guy.”

I wouldn’t mind an Italian Job 2. That said, the news about Ted 2 is a great gift right before Christmas although it probably wasn’t that forgone of a conclusion due to the fact that the fucking movie made a shit ton of money.  Check out the review we posted yesterday that is absolutely mind-blowing for the home release  and you should probably buy everyone twice on your shopping list.
