Kickstarter CEO Responds to ‘South Park’ Spoof
In its season premiere, South Park led off by lampooning, among other things, crowdfunding site Kickstarter, the NFL, and the Washington Redskins.
After almost two weeks, Kickstarter’s CEO, Yancey Strickler, has logged his reaction to “Go Fund Yourself.”
“We’ve been parodied by The Daily Show, Portlandia, The New Yorker…but South Park is an honor,” Strickler said in an interview with Billboard Magazine. “I like to think it’s a signifier of our cultural relevance. Also, they had startlingly realistic interpretations of our office, so I commend them on their research.”
So apparently we can add “creepy stalking” or perhaps “clairvoyance” to the list of talents held by Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and the rest of the South Park team.
We are still awaiting the reaction to last week’s episode from Lorde and Aunt Jemima.

Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
