Kermit the Frog Voice Actor Replaced After Nearly 30 Years

This will be only the second time in which Kermit will get a new voice actor.

Steve Whitmire will no longer be the voice of Kermit the Frog after 27 years at the helm and instead, Matt Vogel will be the “next man up” in helming the voice of the character.

Whitmire has been the voice of Kermit in numerous appearances including The Muppets on ABC which had a single tumultuous season on the ABC Network. Vogel is expected to make his debut as the voice of Kermit sometime next week in a new short.
