Our Take

Isle of Dogs joins a growing trend of PG-13 and higher animated movies hitting the big screen with Bilal, The Breadwinner, Loving Vincent, and others being most recent examples with the latter two getting TONS of award recognition. If anyone can dethrone Disney at next year’s Academy Awards, it’s Wes.
