Iran launches anti-ISIS cartoon contest
Live in Iran and want to help show how lame ISIS is? Well, Iran’s House of Cartoon is launching a cartoon contest looking for submissions that preach anti-Islamic State. Submissions are already starting to pour in and you can see a bunch of them on Vice.com.
The types of messages being conveyed in the works are rather interesting. For the most part, it’s the fault of the Jews and the good ol’ United States of America that ISIS has been running amok all across the Middle East, but the conventions used to convey such messages are similar to what we would draw here in America. Piles of poo, snot-generals, and lots and lots of violence are prevalent and send a strong message to the rest of the world.
Check out the entries so far on Vice.com and let us know which one is your favorite in the comments below.
Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
