HBO Announces Premiere Date/Time for “Animals” Season Two
Plus preview stills!
In a new press release issued by HBO, the second season of Animals has officially been announced with a premiere date/time. Here’s an excerpt from the announcement:
ANIMALS. kicks off its ten-episode second season FRIDAY, MARCH 17 (11:30 p.m.-midnight ET/PT). Created by Phil Matarese & Mike Luciano and produced by Duplass Brothers Television, this animated adult comedy series focuses on the downtrodden creatures native to Earth’s least-habitable environment: New York City. Whether it’s lovelorn rats, gender-questioning pigeons or aging bedbugs in the midst of a midlife crisis, the awkward small talk, moral ambiguity and existential woes of non-human urbanites prove startlingly similar to our own.
You can watch our recent interview with producers Phil and Mike that went down late last year where the guys teased upcoming guest stars that we can expect in the series that made two of our “Best” lists including “Best New Series” and “Best Series” overall.
Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
