Games Review: Phineas and Ferb ‘Replay Rush’

Fans of Phineas and Ferb rejoice! This game does NOT suck. I was pleasantly surprised at the structure of this online game. Disney XD’s Replay Rush delivers on their ability to keep you clicking through this onslaught of microgames. The levels only last seconds, but if you enjoy games that test your reaction and decision-making time, this is the game for you. How can you keep someone with ADD occupied for lengthy amounts of time? Hey look, a kitty!

Seriously, this game will do the trick. Within a literal 30 seconds, you are required to surf around rubber duckies, make a golf putt around 3 trucks, and slide down a large tunnel as Agent P collecting items. There are 14 microgames in total as well as an achievement system in place for overachievers and underachievers. Some in-game achievements include “My First Recollection”, “Perfect Set”, and “Oops”. The first is obtained when you play a microgame for the first time. The second is awarded when you run through a single session without a single fail. I have not been able to earn the last one yet. “Oops” is procured when you fail for the first time.

The reason I made it a point to disclose that I have not failed at this game (yet), is that it is very hard to fail. It is an overall fun game that kills time and is easy. Even if the games are a mere 10 seconds long, they are all packaged so tightly together that it creates a much larger and friendly gameplay experience. As expected, gameplay and controls are extremely simple and user friendly. For those reasons, Replay Rush earns a solid:
