Former Harvey Birdman producer gets Chief post
Even though the series hasn’t been around in a really long time, Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law continues to produce talent that continues to make waves in today’s television and film. Gary Cole (Harvey) has been in a bunch of movies like Pineapple Express, Talladega Nights, and continues to appear in multiple films a year. Stephen Colbert (Phil Ken) not only launched the hugely successful The Colbert Report, but is slated to take The Late Show post from David Letterman next year. And now Michael Ouweleen aka the creator of Harvery Birdman, is set to become the NEW Chief Marketing Officer for Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, and Boomerang!
Christina Miller, president and general manager who oversees the portfolio of media properties had this to say in a statement,
“Michael has that strong combination of creative vision and strategic thinking,” said Miller. “He has a deep knowledge of our brands, and with him now leading the efforts for both the marketing and creative teams there is an opportunity for us to have a more holistic and creative approach to our marketing.”
Mike’s going to have a busy as fuck fall with just Adult Swim alone. Mr. Pickles and Squidbillies premier next week, and Mike Tyson is coming soon!
