Producer Of “Archer/Bob’s Burgers” Fan-Made Video Gets Offered Gig By Bob’s Burgers Producer
Talk about a sweet ending.
London-based producer, Simon Chong, posted yesterday a home made Archer/Bob’s Burgers short that looks like it was ripped right out of the hands of someone over at Bento Box Entertainment and eventually got rave reviews from both shows…even snagging a legit job offer from Bob’s Burgers producer Loren Bouchard!
One of my favorite words of advice from a lot of the established producers making shit is “just keep drawing” and in this case, it looks to have paid off for Simon. Also of note, Loren has seen this despite the fact that his job offer has come the SAME DAY as his show Bob’s Burgers is set to take the stage for San Diego Comic Con, proving that this guy is just ALWAYS working.
Bob’s Burgers has new episodes starting on October 1st on FOX, and Archer returns sometime next year on FXX. It’s quite possible that Simon works on one, 0r both, series by the time they premiere.
