Disney Networks March 2017 Combined Programming Highlights

It’s a new month which means we have a month of new premieres to look forward to and that includes on the Disney networks. Below, check out the listings for prime-time animated highlights for Disney Channel and Disney XD which includes hot franchises like Star Wars Rebels, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Tangled. 

Saturday, March 04

Star Wars Rebels “Secret Cargo”

(8:30 – 9:00 P.M. EST)

When a routine refueling mission goes awry, the Ghost crew find themselves transporting an important rebel leader across the galaxy, pursued by Imperial warships.

Star Wars Rebels “Double Agent Droid”

(8:30 – 9:00 P.M. EST)

Chopper and AP-5 team up to infiltrate an Imperial station to steal needed codes, but an Imperial specialist turns the droids against the crew to cause chaos.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy “Stayin’ Alive”

(9:00 – 9:30 P.M. EST)

While trying to dispose of Thanos’ asteroid, the Guardians discover it has been taken to a secure facility that belongs to the Avengers.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy “Evolution Rock”

(9:30 – 10:00 P.M. EST)

The Guardians and the Avengers team up to find out what powerful secrets lie inside Thanos’ asteroid.

Star Wars Rebels “Twin Suns”

(8:30 – 9:00 P.M. EDT)

Reacting to a vision of Maul, Ezra defies Hera and Kanan to travel to a remote planet in hopes of stopping the former Sith Lord from carrying out his plans.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy “Lyin’ Eyes”

(9:00 – 9:30 P.M. EDT)

When Rocket and Drax wake up with absolutely no memory of the night before, it’s up to the Guardians to piece together their adventures.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy “Free Bird”

(9:00 – 9:30 P.M. EDT)

While the Guardians search for the missing sarcophagus, Groot finds a mysterious egg and does everything in his power to protect it.


Friday, March 10th

Disney Channel Original Movie: “Tangled Before Ever After”

(8:00 – 9:05 P.M. EST)

Set between the stories told in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ acclaimed film “Tangled” and its short film “Tangled Ever After,” this visually vibrant animated adventure/comedy movie unfolds as Rapunzel acquaints herself with her parents, her kingdom and the people of Corona. Her irrepressible spirit and natural curiosity about the world lead her to realize that there is so much more she needs to learn before she can accept her royal destiny. So, she boldly puts her coronation on hold to instead seek epic adventures, much to the dismay of the king who, after missing out on Rapunzel’s youth, must accept that his daughter is now an independent young woman. But when her long blonde hair suddenly grows back, she must accept its magical qualities and all that it represents.

 

March 24th

Tangled: The Series “What the Hair?!”

(7:30 – 8:00 P.M. EDT)

Rapunzel and Cassandra venture out to a wizard‘s cottage to try and find out what has happened to her hair.

*Jeremy Jordan (“Supergirl”) and Jonathan Banks (“Breaking Bad”) recur as Varian and Quirin, respectively.

Tangled: The Series “Rapunzel’s Enemy”

(7:30 – 8:00 P.M. EDT)

When Rapunzel gets booed, she becomes determined to win over her naysayer, a little old man who is loved by everyone in the kingdom.

*Richard Kind (“Mad About You”) recurs as Monty.
