DING! DONG! THE HUB IS DEAD, THE HUB IS DEAD, DING DONG THE FUCKING HUB IS DEAAAAAAAD!

Yesterday was a great day for a few reasons, my favorite of which was this announcement form Deadline.com that Hasbro and Discovery Channel has decided to give up on the piece of shit experiment that is The Hub.

The network was most famous for ruining such franchises such as The Transformers (although Cartoon Network wasn’t much better), GI Joe, and their only good original series Dan Vs., will go away and in its place will be Discovery Family. Don’t worry though Hasbro fans, the toy company will still be able to program from 9am to 3pm every day all the while trying to sell parents and children on awful franchises like My Little Pony only to see the result of those sales go to middle-aged men who clearly suffer from some sort of illness as they dress up in MLP fandom prancing around children like pedos in a nursery.

Franchises actually geared towards a boys audience like GI Joe and Transformers will be shopped with Cartoon Network as the likely target although Cyberton Messiah can certainly tell you that’s not always a match made in heaven. However, I do hope the producers of Dan Vs. shop the series to Cartoon Network because THAT was a great show.
