Comics Review: Rick and Morty #35

We won’t belong.

Overview (Spoilers Below)

This month’s issue sees a pseudo-parody of Jurassic Park because, as it turns out, Rick did that too. Only, he can control the dinosaurs and a couple of the employees have been left on the island to die for 20 years.  When Rick shows up, employees catch him and nearly eat out his asshole, but Summer and Morty are able to make the save thanks to their dino friends.

The Rick Identity Part Four

Turns out, Morty was a clone this whole time but we shouldn’t have to worry about it now.

Our Take

This month’s issue was pretty damn strong. I’m kind of sick of Jurassic Park movies, but boy if they had done a TV episode featuring Rick and Morty with dinosaurs fucking in the woods and angry employees wanting to eat assholes, I would’ve been all over that. And “Rick Identity” appears to have wrapped up and it did so rather well, kind of putting to rest any social overtones that were beginning to percolate and instead finishes up the way a Rick and Morty comic is supposed to.

Some of the dialogue is a bit tacky, and the number of dinos in the jungle are nowhere near as prevalent as say Turok, but overall, #35 is a solid buy.
