Comics Review: Rick and Morty #23
Some of the best Rick and Morty stories are in print.
Michael Jordan, Lebron James, and not the Jim Carrey film are all fine examples of how great #23 can be. This month’s issue of Rick and Morty comics adds to that legend.
Featuring a massive robot battle and an epic number of gags and jokes, if Rick and Morty #23 is an indication of just how nuts the writers are getting concerning this franchise, then the show’s third season is going to be something R-rated in terms of special. The issue is HILARIOUS, like up there with some of the best of the TV show episodes, maybe even better than most of season two with a twist ending that would make the show’s writers stand up and take notice in terms of story structure.
Capped off with a Summer/MeSeeks shorty, and you got yourselves a thrilling conclusion to one of the most exciting Rick and Morty arcs in the franchise’s run…that’s regardless of medium.
Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback.
