I say you should fight over it.

Overview (Spoilers Below)

On this month’s issue of Rick and Morty: Pocket Like You Stole It, Morty heads into the woods and comes across his mother Beth running a fight club of Jerrys. When she finds out that there’s a bounty on Morty’s head, she tries to cash him in, but Morty convinces her that he is, in fact, a Morty-Jerry. With this new information, Beth forces Morty to take part in the fight club until an unexpected savior shows up.

Our Take

It’s funny that the TV show and the comic are dealing with Councils of Rick this week. In any event, a great issue. I loved the obvious call backs to Fight Club and The Walking Dead and seeing Morty not be so much of a bitch and being totally fine in fighting a hulking version of his dad. I’m having a lot of fun with this spin-off series, and am looking forward to seeing how it wraps over the next couple of issues.
