Cleveland is getting animated again…only this time it’s on TV Land
No, the Cleveland Show is not going to TVLand, instead our friends at Titmouse will be animating an upcoming episode of Hot In Cleveland, the live-action sitcom that currently stars Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick, Jane Leeves, and Betty White.
According to a press release, the animated episode (appropriately titled “The Animated Episode,”) will see Melanie (Valerie Bertinelli), Joy (Jane Leeves), Victoria (Wendie Malick) and Elka (Betty White) as cartoon characters embarking on an around-the-world adventure. The magic starts at Elka’s apartment, which before now has been a mystery to Melanie, Joy and Victoria…and they soon find out why. From there the women go on a psychedelic romp through pop culture hits, including scenes with homages to “Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory,” “The Walking Dead” and “Frankenstein.”
This isn’t the first-time that Betty White has been animated as she has lent her voice to such animated shows as The Simpsons, Family Guy, and King of the Hill. In related news, Valerie Bertinelli is 53 years old and I guarantee her ass can still crack walnuts.
No word yet as to when this episode will air, but Hot in Cleveland will return with new episodes on TV Land on March 26th @ 10 pm EST, check your local listings!
