China continues to ban Japanese animation
China has released a blacklist of banned anime. The content from said anime is said to be ”pornographic and violent” and includes such popular titles as Tokyo Ravens, Attack on Titan, Death Note, and about 38 other cartoons and comics. Moreover, 29 streaming websites were fined as a result of having available content for users to stream.
Chinese customers are complaining that their country is not letting them make the choices of what is suitable to watch and instead have turned to cloud or peer-to-peer services to get their anime fix.
So, yea Parents Television Council. If you want to ban cartoons from television, why don’t you go ahead and send your asses to China where you can ban all you want.
Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
