Go Inside with Rug Burn as Chris Prynoski introduces you to Goldbutt

rugburn

It has been a while since we last heard about Rug Burn’s new Goldbutt series but not surprisingly because show creator Chris Prynoski has probably been busy as hell with other things like Supanatural, Venture Bros., and I’m sure a million other things we don’t even know about yet. Thankfully, that has all changed because recently the Rug Burn Channel put up a new video of Chris interviewing Mr. Butt himself for a new feature called ‘Go Inside the Rug Burn Studio’ and you can check it out after the jump.

Cartoon Network posts up trailer for ‘Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles”

cartoonnetworklogo

Next Wednesday @ 8pm EST on Cartoon Network, we get another Star Wars special coming from Simpsons writer Michael Price, this one called The Yoda Chronicle. According to a press release, the Yoda Chronicles is set in the prequel Star Wars era, The Yoda Chronicles features the one and only Yoda — the Jedi Master who has taught generations of Jedi Knights. With help from a fresh class of Padawans, Yoda leads the Jedi in a desperate fight to stop Darth Sidious and his minions from creating a new super-weapon that could crush the Republic and win the war for the forces of evil.:

Last year, Michael also helped put together the Empire Strikes Out special which was very well received so this may be one you might want to keep an eye on. At this juncture its the only Star Wars Animated series worth checking out as a result of the Disney buy out of the franchise so…yea. Trailer after the jump!

Don Cheto Web Series Launches First Episode on Nuevon (@gonuevon)

don cheto

So you may remember that a few weeks back we first told you about a new animated series on the way featuring popular Latino personality Don Cheto. Called Family Guy for Latinos the show has already launched its first episode on Nuevon and in a little under a week has amassed 300k hits which is just plain bonkers and proves that this thing could be a pretty legit hit. Maybe some ought to look at it for TV, no??  Having watched it, I was unable to figure out what anyone was saying because me no habla en Espanol, but the animation looks closer to that of the Family Guy video game that came last year versus a traditionally Flash animated 2D series. Check out the first episode after the jump and let us know what you think! Unless if you don’t speak Spanish then you probably won’t want to.

Patton Oswalt’s Star Wars/Marvel mash gets animated

DISNEY TO ACQUIRE LUCASFILM LTD.

A few weeks ago, Patton Oswalt was part of one online craze after another as he wrote a lovely note following the Boston Massacre and right around the same time he filmed an extended filibuster for the show Parks and Recs where he was talking all about how cool it would be for a Star Wars/Marvel mash-up following the buyout. Well, recently that video was animated and the son of a bitch already has 200,000 hits in just a few days. Check it out after the jump!
