In what might be the funniest thing ever posted, Billy Eicher from Fuse’s Billy on the Street recently had a chance to meet up with the great (and now bald) Hank Azaria of whom does like a 100 different voices on The Simpsons. They partake in a game called ”Charlize, Tyrese, or Denise?” Where Hank must figure out if a given fact is about Charlize Theron, model/actor Tyrese, or Denise Richards. Hank then must answer in a different voice from “The Simpsons” every time he answers a question. And yea, its pretty great. Watch it!
Sunday Times cartoonist Gerald Scarfe is pretty much a legend in his industry but he’s been getting a ton of heat for his latest depiction of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Underneath the toon was the caption “Will cementing the peace continue?” After the world got a hold of Scarfe’s latest work, people have been divided as to whether or not the author is an anti-semite or not. THIS writer thinks not and yes although it is controversial one can’t think there isn’t SOME sort of truth in the symbolism of the cartoon. Controversy has been all over toons for over a 1000 years so if there is any controversy that’s what it is supposed to do.
PRICK SCUMBAG WWE SUPERSTAR JOHN CENA RUINS ‘FRUITY PEBBLES’ FOR FORESEEABLE FUTURE
This is the just the morning of terrible licensing deals ain’t it?? Spoiler Alert, I only like WWE Wrestling when Undertaker is going strong, when not…vamoose! So, I was pretty pissed off when Post Cereals put out a press release claiming that they are switching out the iconic cover of Pebbles’ cereal featuring Fred fucking Flintstone (God of Prime-time cartoons) and instead replacing him with WWE superstar John Cena. As a fan of the Flintstones AND Fruity Pebbles, I can’t help but be completely pissed off by this news, so I’m going to cry myself to sleep and hopefully OD on my Flinstones vitamins.
THIS DUDE ON YOUTUBE MAKES A ‘THE SIMPSONS’ GINGERBREAD HOUSE
I actually do NOT like gingerbread, I just think it tastes gross. But, then this guy on Youtube makes a video showing how he puts together a gingerbread house inspired The Simpsons and now I want some gingerbread. This video certainly gets my vote for a couch gag for the contest FOX is doing.
If you are like me you cannot wait for the highly anticipated new series Cat Agent coming by way of Rug Burn. So, much to my surprise when the official Twitter for Cat Agent posted up a link to Rug Burn’s Tumblr that featured a new strip featuring Cat Agent himself. Cat Agent is set to debut on Rug Burn sometime in 2013.

Longtime Stern Fan Network member Doctor Ivan recently put together some pretty awesome comic strips inspired by the Howard Stern Show of which you can see all of them here. For those who follow the show, there are a lot of complainers on the show(including Howard himself, but that’s why we love him dearly) and so not surprisingly it creates funny content for comics. Check out a preview below than go onto the Howard Stern website to check out the rest of them.
Want some funny ass ideas for your Halloween costume? Welp, Vulture’s got you covered because they found a bunch of videos of people dressing up as all sorts of animated favorites like Master Shake, Marge Simpsons, and Quagmire. Check out all of the videos here as I picked my favorite and placed it below. Which is your favorite??
Back in June Life in Hell was ended by its long time writer Matt Groening who also happens to be the creator of some animated series that comes on Sunday Nights on FOX @ 8pm called The Simpsons. That said, a bunch of Matt’s peers got together and thought it would be a good idea to do a send off in honor of the now fallen series. Better yet you can actually download the tribute poster here because its wicked cool and now I want to find a poster printer so I can hang it on my wall.
I don’t know how you get the creeps, but I got ‘em and I did so by watching this dolt on Yahoo.com transform herself into a real life anime character. I already don’t really like anime and I am a week away from going to NYCC where I will be swimming in a sea of characters, but dress up is one thing and this is something else entirely.
She looks like a Satanic interpretation of Ariel from Little Mermaid. Also this is just reason # 135 why I don’t ever watch anime, including Toonami shit because all this scene is really an acid trip and if I want that I’ll stick with Superjail. Apparently, these bitches are from Russia and are the most popular things over there….besides the porn of course.
I am not a fan of the Beatles as to this day I never understood their allure. Their songs are usually depressing or revolve around psych drugs which are two things I really don’t need to listen about all day every day as I’d rather listen to some man music like Slayer. That said, Pablo [...]
Is it sedition?? Or socialism?? So recently Aseem Trivedi was arrested for creating cartoons in his home country of India during the time of the country’s some civil unrest last year. According to an article on Cnn.com:
Trivedi’s cartoons attacked perceived corruption in India’s political system, with one of them depicting three lions in India’s national emblem as wolves and another showing parliament as a toilet, Hiremath said.
He was also charged with insulting national honor and authorities have blocked Trivedi’s website, which carried the cartoons, Hiremath added.
I am all for toilet humor so I find the sedition charges levied against Mr. Trivedi are silly and at the very least archaic as the rules were put in place during the colonial times back when India was under British rule. The Indian government believed it wasn’t practicing censorship rather enforcing what should be regulations levied against newspapers:
“I don’t think making cartoons is wrong…But they (cartoonists) should not make national symbols as their subject,” the minister said.
Thankfully, the cartoonist has been released on bail after MUCH national scrutiny but Aseem Trivdei’s cause against 124A( The law prohibits “words either spoken or written, or by signs or visible representation” that attempts to cause “hatred or contempt, or excites or attempts to excite disaffection,” toward the government.) is still alive and well.
Facebook.com has a stupid rule in play where you can’t have sex and nudity on your page and evidently The New Yorker was in violation of this when they posted this cartoon:
The artist Mick Stevens then had to go back and redo it so that it looks like this:
The New Yorker is world renowned for its awesome cartoons both political and otherwise, and for Facebook to do the dick thing in making them change shit up is in rabid violation of our First Amendment rights. With that said, my favorite Facebook page has TONS of ass! What do you think?? Who is in the right here??? That said, New Yorker editor Bob Mankoff wrote a wonderful article about it.
So, some kid on Reddit yesterday made a hoopla over these napkins that were supposedly signed by The Simpsons’ Matt Groening. Having said that, let’s say this was Pawn Stars and I were a handwriting expert in a pinch, I would say this signature has too much wrong from it from the typical one you see on the comics and what not so I am not 100% convinced. For example, the “G’s” are cross and the “M-A” looks a bit off as well. You can be the judge after looking at them all and see if you think they are real or not.
