Bubbleblabber’s 2015 nominations: Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program
First thing tomorrow morning, the nominations for the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards will be announced, and as always we want to make sure we have our say in the only category that pertains to us, the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program.
Last year, Bob’s Burgers won the award and deservedly so and we would not be surprised to see them again, but I think Adult Swim’s going to start making waves with shows like China IL, Robot Chicken, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Mike Tyson’s Mysteries enter the fold.
FX’s Archer will could absolutely make a play to be an Emmy contender as will Comedy Central’s South Park. However, if I were FX Networks, I would start throwing in considerations for some of the FXX animated series, most notably Lucas Bros. Moving Company or Axe Cop.
And of course, quite possibly the biggest story, The Simpsons. Last year it was pretty big news that for the first time in forever The Simpsons weren’t nominated for best animated series in quite some time, will that change this year?
Sound off on the comments below to let us know what animated shows should be considered for the 2015 Emmys.
Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
