Jesus H. Christ, this fucking show is going to be out on Blu-Ray before we see it on FOX. That’s because the network has officially announced via press release that Bordertown will not be premiering until 2016.

For those that don’t know, Bordertown is a new animated comedy from FAMILY GUY’s Mark Hentemann and Seth MacFarlane. BORDERTOWN is a satirical look at the cultural shifts taking place in America. Exploring family, politics and everything in between with a cross-cultural wink, the series centers on two very different families living in a fictional Southwest desert town on the U.S. – Mexico border.

This is now at LEAST the third or fourth delay of the FOX comedy. The show was originally supposed to kick off back in March, then we were told Fall 2015. Now it seems that FOX is going to go ahead and wait to premier Bordertown sometime in 2016. The earliest WE could see it premiering is probably after the NFL Playoffs, so if you were excited for this series…don’t be…cuz it’s gonna be a while.

In one positive note, it looks as though one David Hasselhoff could be guest-starring in an upcoming episode of Bordertown as he was spotted snapping pics with people over at Bento Box, though if we’re lucky we MIGHT see that episode in 2017 knowing our luck with this show.
