Bayonetta: Bloody Fate gets English Cast

This weekend at the AnimeExpo in Los Angeles, it was announced by Funimation that the entire English cast for Bayonetta: Bloody Fate has been revealed, and for fans of the game you should be ecstatic because it looks like it’s pretty much the same cast as the popular franchise that will be given an exclusive sequel for Wii U this Fall (which I think is HORSE SHIT). The cast reads as follows:

CHARACTER – ACTOR

BAYONETTA – Hellena Taylor
JEANNE – Grey DeLisle
LUKA – Yuri Lowenthal
BALDER – Grant Albrecht
RODIN – Dave Fennoy
ENZO – John Kassir
NARRATOR – Richard Epcar

Not for nothing, but am I the only one pissed that Bayonetta 2 is a Nintendo exclusive? I played the first one on PS3 and loved it, so the fact that it’s getting an exclusive release on the one game system no one seems to own is bologna. Thankfully, judging from the movie synopsis, Bayonetta: Bloody Fate sounds bad-ass.

The cutting-edge studio behind Afro Samurai brings to life the sexy, stylish, and undeniably-badass video game vixen that prowls the shadows of your wildest dreams.

Read the rest of the press release here, and the Facebook page for Bayonetta: Bloody Fatnoted that a sneak peek was shown at Anime Expo, so I’m sure that will surface online in the coming days. A release date for the movie has not been announced, however Funimation says it should be on DVD later this year.
